After a few weeks of hard work, our 10-man progression team was able to defeat the Lich King on 10-man heroic mode.  Grats to Kyan, Dimmsdale, Meetbag, Brightcaller, Rieux, Disperse, Justus, Yitzak, Folin, and some scrub alt pally on their Bane of the Fallen King titles!!!!!  A big THANK YOU to all the other members of TI that spent hours working on this encounter with the 10-man team.  Onward to the 25-man version!

MMO Champion announced the changes to raiding for the Cataclysm expansion.  Early dirt sheets report that that hardcore raiders are throwing themselves off cliffs, making "I quit" threads on the WoW forums, and walking aimlessly around Manhattan with cardboard "The End is Near" ads hung over their shoulders.  We here at TI are no different - in fact, we have decided to suspend raiding as of today, and move on to a more serious MMO, like Aion.  Need proof?  Take a look at that screenshot, where it's clear that Khoma done lost his goddamn mind.   And he probably

Simply amazing!   Shadowmourne and Frostwyrm Mounts in the same week.  I cannot begin  to express how proud I am of Taint Invaders - to see us come so far in only a year and a half of existence.  Congratulations to everyone in the guild that has put so much skill, time, preparation, and effort into making TI one of the top raiding guilds on Proudmoore.  This achievement was top 100 in the U.S., and the future only looks brighter from here!  Keep it up!

Among the many accolades that we have achieved lately, we obtained the awesome chest goodies that come from killing Arthas 25-man for the first time with a Shadowmourne wielder in the raid.  I must admit, I didn't think these things were THAT cool when I first heard about them, but then I saw them in-game - they are SO much fun!  Grats to Lostspyder on the wicked-looking red wannabe DK mount,  Khoma on Jaina's group teleport necklace, Meetbag on his instant musical posse box, Yitzak on the tabard of omg-I'm-blinded, and me on becoming a naked frozen dorf.  Onward to hero

We've come quite a long way from November 2008 and the beginning of this expansion to completing eleven of twelve Icecrown hardmode fights. It is truly fantastic to see everyone's hard work and dedication pay off. We now begin work on the most challenging encounter in this expansion. The Lich King beckons.
